course and home of the PGA Event - WorldCom Classic. Harbour
Town was once again recently rated the #1 golf course
in South Carolina for 2003.
Harbour Town Golf Links offers 18 memorable holes that
require classic and demanding shotmaking. The signature
hole is #18, a 478-yard par 4 requiring a long tee shot
to a wide landing area which juts into the Calibogue Sound.
The following approach shot is challenged by the Sound’s
ocean breezes as the memorable Harbor Town Lighthouse
serves as a backdrop.
Harbor Town remains an innovative masterpiece and is a
favorite among PGA tour pros. Designer Pete Dye completed
a full renovation of the course in November 2000.
